Essentially this release is a collection of remixes by other artists among them are: The Echoing Green, Colossal Spin and Regenerator. These ten remixes aren’t just beat laden throwaway songs (like a lot of remixes). They are reinterpretations of the Paradoxx composed versions. “Vampyr” was revamped by Rick and Joyce Creta quite superbly. They slowed down the tempo and injected a more dark surreal feeling into this already grand song. It is an example of the unparalleled originally that is apparent throughout the album. The acoustic redoing of “Atomika” is the highlight here, the haunting vocals by Lissa and Phoenix invokes passion and intensity that is real and gorgeous. This CD is meant to be played loud and often. The lyrics speak to the heart, the music stimulates the mind; Ralph and the gang have done it again. They have “contaminated” the music industry with another batch of sonic gems. Aaron Anderson About Vampyr Another highlight of Atomika is "Vampyr," which opens with a beautiful organ sample that will awaken the "Vampyr" in the listener. This song incorporates gothic, rave and rock genres, and they meld together perfectly. This track compares Satan to a vampire and discusses the various tricks he uses to try to bring us down. He desperately wants us to be part of his "sick romance."
