With infectios vocal melodies and refreshing pop swagger, Parachute are a band to watch. Signed to Mercury / IDJ in 2007, Parachute have spent the last two years touring with such acts as O.A.R., Switchfoot, 3 Doors Down, The Script, Duffy, and Jon McLaughlin. On Oct. 6, the band started a US Tour with Kelly Clarkson that will carry them through the end of the year. New Year's Eve 2008 saw the band perform with the Jonas Brothers and Taylor Swift on the NIVEA stage in NYC's Times Square. Their debut album, which had the band working with such producers as John Shanks, John Fields, Dan Wilson and Chris Keup, was released on May 19, 2009. The album shot to 1 on the iTunes album list, 1 on Amazon, and has sold over 75K units to dates. Their hit single "She Is Love" has over 350K downloads, and was featured in a national NIVEA tv campaign in the winter and spring of 2009.
