'Sticks And Stones' Reviews:
"Conjuring up images of The Beatles, Stones and more legendary acts to preceed them, The Vals have managed to assemble a set of originals tunes to set their sails on a legendary ocean of success. The songs, consistently infectious, blend the past with the present and totally blow away the competition. You owe it to yourself to give The Vals' "Sticks and Stones" a listen. I'm sure you'll be musically pleased." - beatlepat
"For many bands is very difficult to establish their sound, but The Vals are the perfect exception. Composed by Paul Doherty, John Rossi, Marty Malone, Owen Duffy, in his veins runs the word retro. “Sticks And Stones” makes you dance, sweat, dreaming while in motion and keeps you feeling like a child playing with sticks and stones in the backyard. For extra charm to the concept of the band in August 2008, Paul Doherty received a letter from Yoko Ono (widow of former Beatle John Lennon), expressing his admiration for the band: “Hello Paul. Now they are doing Peace & Love Festival are connected to all of us, the family of world peace. Good for you. Lots of love, Yoko”. - izzifreak
